It would appear that Wi-Fi only models of Apple's latest iPad have already sold out.
Listings for the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions of the new device all state that the dispatch time for each currently stands at one week.
Those customers who purchased the newest addition to the iPad family early can still expect to receive their device once it hits shelves this Friday.
After announcing the fourth-generation device last week, Apple began taking pre-orders on Friday.
The only changes made to the new device include a new A6X processor, which promises to offer double the power of the previous generation iPad, along with Apple's new dock connection, which has become the standard across the firms newest product ranges.
Similarly, Apple has revealed that the initial supply for iPad Mini device - which was also announced last week - has ran out, stating that potential customers face a two week delay.

Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour and The Dark Knight Rises will feature 'Xbox ecosystem' optimisation.
Digital games publisher, Gameloft, will optimise 12 of its most popular titles for Windows Phone 8, following the official launch of the Microsoft OS last night.
Each game will be optimised for the 'Xbox ecosystem' to drive social sharing and connectivity, allowing players to post scores to leaderboards.
Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour will headline the charge, with a Christmas 2012 launch. It follows on from Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation, which reached 1.5m monthly active users.
Baudouin Corman, VP of publishing for the Americas, Gameloft, said: "Gameloft is thrilled to be able to take advantage of the integrated Xbox gaming service on Windows Phone 8.
"As smartphones continue to gain ground as one of the most widely adopted gaming devices, we see this as a great opportunity for us to optimise our titles for Windows Phone 8 users to enjoy with the platform's new features."
The decision to integrate Xbox connectivity supports the Xbox console creator's belief that mobile games complement consoles.
The 12 titles will run across all WinPho 8 devices – Nokia, Samsung and HTC – and the full line-up includes:
Ice Age Village
N.O.V.A. 3: Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance
Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour
Shark Dash
Asphalt 7: Heat
The Dark Knight Rises
UNO & Friends
Order & Chaos Online

All models sold out three days after online pre order availability.
The initial inventory of Apple’s iPad Mini has sold out just three days after becoming available for pre order online.
Shipping times for the three Wi-Fi versions of the black and white iPad Mini have now been pushed back to two weeks, suggesting that entire initial stock is sold out. The LTE-enabled iPad Mini models are, however, yet to go on sale.
While some investors were initially unsettled by Apple’s decision to price the iPad Mini at a starting cost of $329 – notably higher than such competing tablets as the Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire – its unprecedented demand is sure to have gone some to allaying any such concerns.

Google recently took aim at Amazon's seven-inch Kindle Fire tablet and teamed with ASUS to release the Nexus 7 tablet.
Now, Google has roped Samsung into its plans for tablet market domination to release the ten-inch big brother of the N7, the Nexus 10.
The 10 boasts the 'world’s highest resolution tablet display', Android 4.2 Jelly Bean (the latest update) power and is just 8.9mm. That's thinner than the beefy 9.4mm of
the iPad 3.
Furthermore, it only weighs 603g which is lighter than the 662g of the 9.7-inch Apple tablet.
Other features include a dual-core A15 processor, MIMO wi-fi (up to five times faster than the standard) and a 1.9MP front-facing camera.
The Nexus 10 16GB and 32GB cost $399 and $499 respectively, and will roll out in the Google Play Store in the US, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan on November 13th.

Hurricane Sandy may have put the kibosh on Google's gala in New York City, but it's not stopping the company from taking the wraps off of its latest pure Android phone. LG's Nexus 4 is finally official, after a cavalcade of leaks that spelled out just about everything ahead of time. As for the official specs? We're looking at a 4.7-inch True HD IPS Plus display (1,280 x 768), an 8 megapixel rear camera, Gorilla Glass 2, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM and the latest rendition of Google Now. Naturally, turn-by-turn navigation via Google Maps is included, as are 3D Maps, Street View and Indoor Maps. The Nexus 4 will be sold (at least initially) unlocked, supporting some 200 carriers that play by the GSM / HSPA+ rules. It'll be made available in both 8GB and 16GB versions starting November 13 in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain and Australia, with pricing set for $299 (8GB) / $349 (16GB). The 16GB version will also be available through T-Mobile for $199, with a 2-year contract.

Although it's an open secret at this point, Google has finally officially announced a 32GB Nexus 7 for $249/£199, and that the 16GB version has dropped in price to $199. Also available with unlocked HSPA+ access for another $50, the Nexus 7 now has several flavors to fit in the middle Google's "best of" lineup. Buyers that have been waiting to grab the expanded-capacity edition have their choice of retailed to choose from, in a variety of countries, and it's in-stock and ready to ship on Google Play. Aren't we all glad the waiting is finally over?Nexus 7: 16GB for $199 and 32GB for $249; available in U.S., U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan, and also through our retail partners Gamestop, Office Depot, Office Max, Staples, Walmart.

Google's not only introduced some new devices today, it's also delivered a few updates to its flagshipNexus 7 tablet. That includes a new, unlocked 32GB model with HSPA+ mobile data that will set you back $299 -- and run the just-announced Android 4.2, naturally. Look for it to be available in the Google Play store in the US, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Spain and Canada (where it's priced slightly above par at $309) on November 13th. No word yet on retail availability beyond Google Play, but you can sign up to be notified when it's available to order there at the link below.

Chrono Trigger is now available on Android, making it officially available on everything ever made ever. Okay, that's not true, but Square Enix's classic has already released for DS, Virtual Console, PSN, iOS, and mobile phones. Which means the only current gaming device not to have it yet is Xbox 360 - the key word being yet. Yup, it's just a matter of time...
It'll cost you $9.99 to experience the SNES RPG on Android, the same price as on iOS. The port includes the Dimension Vortex and Lost Sanctum bonus areas from the DS re-release.

Pixld, the iOS puzzle game from Portal co-creator Kim Swift and Quantum Conundrum developer Airtight Games, is now available on the App Store. It's currently going for an introductory $0.99, but having introduced itself it'll return to a regular price of $1.99.
The games gives players a grid of cyan and navy blocks, tasking them with making color-matching rectangles by flipping the blocks' colors. Sounds simple, except flipping a block's color also flips the color of every adjacent block. With time-based, moves-limited, and one-life modes, Pixld is a test of vision, reflexes, and strategy. Oh, and it has weird textspeak-like shorthand in its menus, but don't worry, it's nothing too egrgs.

Google counters the iPad mini with ... a bigger Nexus tablet! Actually, it's more directly targeted at the full-size iPad line. The Nexus 10, an Android 4.2 tablet shipping on November 13, packs a dual-core 1.7GHz CPU, a 2560 x 1600 screen, and 2GB of RAM into its 8.9mm thick case.
All of those numbers are hard to understand out of context, which is why Engadget created a comparison chart. That screen comes out wider than the iPad, with a better pixel density and a faster processor. The really impressive specification to compare, however, is the price: $399 for 16GB, a full hundred dollars under Apple's luxury offering. The 32GB version is $499.

Sales of the Amazon tab up three times week-on-week.
Amazon is always very cagey about sales figures, but tellsAllThingsD that sales rose significantly following iPad mini's reveal on Tuesday.
Drew Herdener, spokesman, Amazon, said: "Wednesday was the $199 Kindle Fire HD’s biggest day of sales since launch and up 3x week over week."
It's interesting Herdener took the time to acknowledge the HD's price tag – Apple's cheapest offering costs $329 – suggesting that the mini is too dear to interest consumers.
That said, the white iPad mini sold out shortly after going on sale showing that the firm isn't out of the running just yet.

Android 4.2 is teeming with new features and system improvements, but you can bet that Photo Sphere will be the one that's talked about most amongst consumers. While Android phones on the whole have had panoramic modes for years, Apple's iOS 6 update added even more fuel to that fire. Now, Google's taking things to an entirely new level. With Android 4.2, users can snap pictures in every direction, and the system does the stitching. What you're left with are photos that can be navigated, taking viewers "inside of the scene." Photo Spheres are stored as JPEG files, and all of the information required to view them is embedded as open XML metadata in the image itself. You'll be able to peek 'em on your phone or share them easily through Google+, and perhaps best of all, publish them to Google Maps for the world to see. Head on past the break to see what you've got to look forward to.

Microsoft is busy officially revealing all the bits and pieces that make up Windows Phone 8, and one of them is its new lock screen. Powered by Live Apps designed for Windows Phone 8 like Facebook, it lets apps directly update your lock screen with new photos and information. Exec Joe Belfiore is, as usual, excited about it, pointing to the "surprise" now waiting every time he picks up his phone. If pics from your last vacation popping up every time you turn your phone on doesn't get you going ,just imagine sports scores or other relevant info you've picked pushed straight to the front, just a button press away

Ever dreamed of having more than one user account on your smartphone? Microsoft's making that a reality with Kid's Corner for Windows Phone 8. If you're not a parent, don't let the name deceive you: this particular feature is great for both the tiny tots and all of your grown-up friends, as it allows you to choose which apps, games, music and videos show up when the device is in that particular mode. It's a feature that has strangely eluded the other major platforms, and it absolutely gives WP8 an edge for those concerned about youngsters (and potentially even colleagues) getting into trouble with yourphone.

Microsoft has just outed Data Sense, a new app for Windows Phone 8 that helps ensure you don't burn through your data plan. On top of tracking your usage app-by-app, it compresses every single web page you browse to keep data consumed to a minimum, and also sniffs out WiFi hotspots when they become available. The app features a Live Tile to give an ongoing saga of the megabytes you've consumed and will warn you near a preset limit. Redmond claims the hotspot sniffing and compression will let you consume 45 percent less data "when compared to the competition" -- likely a reference to iOS and Android, which already have a similar feature. Data Sense will arrive first on Verizon this fall, but there's no word yet on when other carriers will have it. To check the PR, go past the fold.

We've heard how Windows Phone 8 is all about you, and seen all the devices bearing the new OS at launch. What's left, however, is where you can get one on the other side of the pond and, more importantly, how much it's going to cost you. Nokia has separately announced that both the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 will be launching in the UK (and France) later this week. More specifically, though, it looks like every UK carrier will be getting at least three handsets, with the almost-ready-to-launch EE getting both of HTC and Nokia's handset pairs. We've got all the (current) pricing details and availability dates after the break.

Google undoubtedly upset the tablet market almost overnight with the Nexus 10: that record-setting 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, Exynos 5 Dual, Android 4.2 and all-important $399 starting price just tilted price-performance balance in a different direction than we'd seen even a week ago. But how does it stack up against its competition? We've included full details of the devices in a chart after the break; initial appearances suggest that pure performance hounds may like the Nexus 10 the most, although it doesn't have the most diverse options for cellular data or storage. We'll know the real tale of the tape once the Nexus 10 reaches our hands.

Google had already yanked the "In Stock" status from its Nexus Q as we awaited a re-envisioning of its purpose, but today's Nexus launch is making it ever clearer that we may never hear from the bizarre orb again. Launched in July with an almost unbelievably small set of features, it took but a few weeks for Google to postpone the proper launch while sending free units to those who pre-ordered. Now, its placement on the Nexus landing page has been removed entirely, with the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 roaming the page alone. The Q's placement in the Play Store remains, but an ominous "This device is not for sale at this time" message accompanies it. Google had not returned a request for comment at the time of this article's publication, but we'll update should we hear back.
