US developer Handheld Games has filed a lawsuit against Gizmondo Europe and its parent company, Tiger Telematics, alleging that the creators of the recently launched Gizmondo console breached a development contract with the firm.
Handheld Games claims that it had a contract with Gizmondo Europe to develop a racing title called Chicane: Jenson Button Racing, based on the Jenson Button license which was acquired by Gizmondo with much fanfare some months ago.
However, according to Handheld, Gizmondo subsequently failed to provide development kits and license information required to create the game, and the firm claims that it has now started work on the game with another developer.
Handheld filed suit against Tiger and Gizmondo in Seattle in the middle of last month, and is seeking damages of $75,000 plus for breach of contract.

Don_Thomaso has released a new version of Enes for the UIQ range of phones, heres what he says:
I finally managed to get some free time. I installed all the sdks and Borland Builderx, read a lot of manuals..to make a long story short - here's a version with working save functionality (hopefully). Steve's version only allowed savegames 512kb big, mine allows 2048kb. That's two megs, so make sure you have enough space on you memory stick. If it still complains in any game, report it here and I'll raise the limit even more.

This is unfinished work! It is in a very early state and in no way complete. There isn't even a key for skipping the opening intros and to quit it you have to terminate the process. Also, it was only tested on a Nokia 6600 and it probably won't work on any other phone.
Some of the games I got running were Monkey Island 1 & 2, Day of the Tentacle and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.
Enjoy this preview. But don't blame me if your phone goes up in flames.
