This Zodiac for sale was originally my second Zodiac to be used if my first broke, but a few years down the line my first is still working well so I do not have a need for it.
It is a Zodiac 2 in near pristine condition, it has only been opened to check it was working, so its had around 10 minutes usage, the shipping screen protector is still on the screen. The user manual/cd seal is unbroken, headphones and wrist strap are unused. I tested the battery life and it appears to be very good. There are no dead pixels or damage to the Zodiac screen.
Included in the auction are Zodiac Cradle, Zodiac bungee cord stylus, 6x Zodiac boxed games, Brando Zodiac Leather Case and a Veo Traveller Photo Camera. Check out the full details here.

We're still waiting for mobile phone games to come good. In the meantime we're happily playing our DS Lites. That said, the Doom RPG was awesome, mainly because you didn't need to use anything apart from your thumb.
Early 2007 sees PGR's mobile debut, developed by Glu Mobile, and the cars you'll be able to smash into walls include Aston Martin V12 Vanquish, Cadillac Sixteen, Ford GT, Honda NSX-R, Lamborghini Gallardo, AMG-Mercedes C-DTM 2006 and Toyota GT One.
Check out these new screens.

New research by Nokia has highlighted the growing importance of community and connected features to mobile gaming consumers.
Forty five per cent of players make use of multiplayer features at least once a month, with 62 per cent of the 1800 participants sampled wanting to share demos with friends, and 79 per cent stating they would sample a trial game sent by someone they know.
"These research results further validate that consumers are looking to the next-generation of mobile gaming to meet their gaming needs," said Jaakko Kaidesoja, director of games and multimedia at Nokia.
"Consumers are demanding great graphics, great content and great gameplay and we have listened. Next year, we intend to deliver superior mobile gaming experiences which will include great looking, involved and connected games that are easy to find, manage and play."
"Web 2.0 saw the birth of a new, more empowered use of the internet and with the next-generation of mobile gaming we are on the brink of the same evolution," added Kaidesoja.
"Nokia has recognised consumers' desire for communities and connected social gaming. We are evolving our online community strategies to bring truly connected, easy-to-use mobile gaming experiences to millions of mobile device owners worldwide."
Other highlights of the research by Nokia revealed that 80 per cent of users play mobile games once a week, with an average session lasting 28 minutes.
Despite being mobile by name, 62 per cent of mobile games are played at home, just pipping 61 per cent of titles played while on the move.
When considering a purchase, 83 per cent of users cite gameplay as the key motivator, followed by replayability (79 per cent) and game genre (78 per cent).
In terms of distribution, 34 per cent of respondents prefer over-the-internet (OFI) methods, with over-the-air (OTA) proving more popular with 45 per cent of those sampled.

It's an MP3 player. It's an FM radio. It's video and photo display device. It's an e-book reader. It's a sound recorder. It's a Linux-based personal computer ready for web, email and office usage. Yes, it's Wizpy, the Swiss Army Knife of handheld gadgets announced by Japan's Turbolinux this week.
Sporting a 256,000-colour OLED screen, the Wizpy looks like any of of number of would-be iPod killers, and all the media playback features - MP3, Ogg, AAC, DivX and JPEG formats supported - are all present and correct. There's a radio on board too and a text viewer.
However, the 60g, 8.4 x 4.2 x 1.2cm device also has a suitably tailored version of Linux on board ready to run browser, email and office software. Just plug it into a PC's USB port, restart the host machine and it'll boot up into the open source operating system so you can surf and work and be sure nothing's being recorded on the hard disk.
As yet, the Wizpy's only due for a Japanese launch, and it's not going to be available until February 2007.

Hi everyone,
Sixtyforce has been going around for a while ever since Apple brought out OSX for the PowerPC.
I am quite proud of this emulator as it is probably one of the best emulators for computers that anyone could ever use legally on ANY system.
Anyway
sixtyforce 0.8.0 is the current version.
New since 0.7.5 --
- Added emulation of memory packs to handle game saving!
- Added support for Immersion based force feedback controllers. (Mac OS X 10.2.3 or later.)
- Added axis dead zones for analog controllers to fix over-sensitivity.
Bug fixes since 0.7.5 --
- Fixed a bug that made F-Zero X unplayable. (The graphics are no longer completely distorted.)
- Fixed a bug that could cause crashes after loading a freeze state.
- Fixed a number of crashes related to controller and keyboard support.
- Fixed a problem that could cause sixtyforce to not launch on older systems.

We don't seeing anything with helping a man out, or cutting him a sweet deal if he picks up a bundle of goods, but apparently the MPAA isn't down with companies loading the DVDs that consumers purchase onto their iPods as a friendly convenience. In another round of studios forcing consumers to purchase content multiple times for no good reason at all, Paramount Pictures has filed a lawsuit against the all but helpless Load 'N Go Video, which provided customers picking up an iPod and a few DVDs with a converting service to get flicks onto their handheld as a thank you for their business. According to the suit, the actual ripping of the DVD is illegal under the almighty DMCA, making the entire process illegal, fair use or not. Evidently selling millions of copies of Mission: Impossible III isn't good enough, as it appears that customers will be asked to shell out multiple times for the same (admittedly subpar) content. While pirating copies for personal gain is certainly aggravating the law, transcoding content for personal use sure seems harmless to us, but you'll have an exceedingly difficult time convincing Hollywood of that.

Another Guest (a.k.a SomeOne) has just released a port of Duke Nukem 3D to the UIQ 3 platform (Sony Ericsson P990, M600, W950).
Heres the details:
Hi!
Since.. well.. not alot of classic 3d games has been ported to UIQ3 yet, I think I have to start with something.
And before you ask.. yes I have tried Quake.. and it does not start due to a internal stack limit of 80 Kb in the Symbian 9 phones.
So what to do.. well.. why not try another classic.. Like Duke Nukem 3d. So here is a first try..
I have tested it with the 1.3d Shareware version.. and alittle bit with the 1.5 Atomic Edition. Its not completed yet, but if you configure the duke3d.cfg right it should be.
To use the shareware version you need to install it, and then edit the duke3d.cfg. Game files should then be placed on the memorycard under \Shared\Duke3d.
If you use notepad or such to edit the duke3d.cfg it will probably not work, and Duke will crash. So hexeditor is the best or linux tool
Audio rates should be 11025,16000, 22050 not 11000, 22000 like is the default after running setup.
I think somebody can post good working cfg files for nice play .
And yes.. in atomic the demo will crash after awhile.. problem in the audio parts. But as I said.. this is just something to start of with. (And yes .. you will need the keyboard at the bottom.. therefore the 8 bottom pixels are not visible).
This version is based
on:
* The Icculus.org port for SDL http://icculus.org/duke3d/
* The JonoFs port of Duke 3D for the Palm platorm. http://www.metaviewsoft.de/en/Softwa...uke3D/index.ht ml
* ESDL By Hannu Vittala and Anotherguest.

PicoDrive by Notaz is an emulator of Sega Genesis aka Megadrive, the old gaming console. It is mostly based on UIQ2 version, but has many enhancements included from GP2X port. Compatibility is good, runs most of the games. ROMs are selected using file browser, so they can be put anywhere. The emulator supports .smd, .bin and .gen format, ROMs can be zipped (one ROM per one zip).

New release from Critical:
Hi,
This is the latest Gizmondo port of Chui's uae4all Amiga emulator. Sound works pretty well now, and there are various other enhancements (including speed).
You may download the binary (and source, if you're interested) from:
http://criticalhippo.googlepages.com/uae4allgizmondo2
The readme is included below:
uae4allgizmondo0.6.3
----------------
This is an Amiga emulator for the Gizmondo. This port is maintained by critical (criticalhippo@gmail.com).
If you feel strangely compelled to donate, you may do so via paypal to: criticalhippo@gmail.com
This version shares the same codebase as uae4all gp2x 0.6.3, including the FAME/C core that the mighty
Chui provided. Sound works now.
This is a port of Chui's uae4all code, using the SDL libraries ported to the Gizmondo by sweetlilmre.
Installation
------------
The data directory should be placed on your SD card like this:
SD Card Root
!
!--- uae4all
!
!----- data
If using firefly's launcher, it's best to put uae4all.exe and the supplied dlls
into the uae4all directory, otherwise put them in the root of your SD card.
Put your kick.rom file in the uae4all directory.
The kick.rom file should be a kickstart 1.3 image, and overdumped (512K, rather than 256K).
It is not legal to distribute the kickstart rom, hence it is not included with this release.
You may put your adf Amiga disk images wherever you like on the SD card.
Controls
--------
At the menu, use the FFWD button to select menu items.
Whilst playing, go to the menu by pressing RWND.
Whilst playing, press STOP to toggle between joystick and mouse mode.
Whilst playing, when in joystick mode, press the right shoulder button to bring up the
virtual keyboard. Press FFWD to press a key. Press the left should button to dismiss it.
Whilst playing, when in joystick mode, press FFWD to press the fire button
Whilst playing, when in mouse mode, press the left shoulder button to click the left mouse button.
Whilst playing, when in mouse mode, press the right shoulder button to click the right mouse button.
Whilst playing, when in mouse mode, hold down PLAY whilst using the DPAD to 3X accelerate mouse pointer.
If you have trouble loading games, set the 'Emu Bias' fully to CPU in the main menu and retry.

---------------

The Reaper UK posted a new emulator for the Gizmondo, heres the details:
A lazy port of Xpce for the gizmondo which is a PC Engine Emulator.......................
Lazy Port of XPCE for Pocket PC by Shinji, Here is the Link to his website..............
http://tokyo.cool.ne.jp/pdafan/index_e.html
By lazy port i mean, i only alted screen size, Giz Buttons, sound, and some other small bits & bobs.
So i was so lazy that it needs to run in Windows CE Mode, but don't fear as Sweetlilmre LocknLoad
is used to make this run itself from standard Giz Gui.....................
Right then follow these instructions for it to work 100%, using fireflys launcher:
Download and unzip the file, Copy the XpceGIZ FOLDER to ROOT of sd card, copy some pce rom files to sd card as well, then load and play.................
These instructions for Zektor's Launcher:
Download and unzip the file, Copy the XpceGIZ FOLDER to ROOT of sd card, copy some pce rom files to sd card as well, When this is run the launcher will get in the way, so JUST PRESS STOP BUTTON TO QUIT LAUNCHER, XPCE will be running now.
Right now the important part THE KEYS:
HOME = Load requester (To load a pce rom).
SOUND = Rest Game.
BRIGHTNESS = Load SaveState.
ALARM = Save SaveState.
POWER = Quit the Emulator.
D-PAD = Up, Down, Left, Right.
PLAY = Button A.
FORWAND = Button B.
LEFT TRIGGER = Select Button.
RIGHT TRIGGER = Start Button.
Once you have quit there will be an icon on the Windows CE screen to reload GIZ GUI, Highligt this and press play, when the Fatal Error screen appears just press PLAY and wait a while, back to giz gui

As much as we're going to miss covering the entertaining side show that has been the life of Bo Stefan Eriksson for the last nine months, we're relieved that the former Gizmondo Europe director has finally admitted some culpability in this strange saga -- and that he'll soon be forced to leave the country and become someone else's problem. After a Los Angeles jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict in Eriksson's grand theft auto case last week -- resulting in a mistrial -- the imaginary friend-loving Swede apparently decided that a retrial coupled with the separate weapons charges would be too much to bear, and ended up receiving a pretty sweet deal from prosecutors. In exchange for pleading guilty to two counts of embezzlement and one count of illegal gun possession, the one-time mobster weaseled his way out of an auto theft charge and ended up receiving a three-year sentence plus three years of probation -- but because of the time he's already served as well as "other allowances," he should be free in about a year. Once he gives up his orange jumpsuit, Eriksson faces immediate deportation from the US, although his lawyer has stated that the now house-less and car-less felon was planning to leave anyway (expect us to be liveblogging his bon voyage party). The only matter that has yet to be settled is how much loot will have to be paid to the British banks who repo'd Eriksson's Mercedes and non-crumpled Ferrari, so after December 7th, ol' Stefan will be lucky to have enough money in his commissary account to afford a package of Twinkies.

Former Gizmondo executive Stefan Eriksson is to be retried on counts of fraud and grand theft after the first jury to hear evidence was unable to reach a decision.
A California judge declared a mistrial on Friday after jurors were deadlocked 10-2 in favour of conviction on the charges, which centred on Eriksson's having imported rare sports cars to the US and ceasing to make payments on them.
Eriksson is best known within the games industry for his role in setting up the failed Gizmondo handheld business, and for his alleged links with the Swedish mafia. He also hit the headlines after his red Ferrari Enzo crashed on the Pacific coast highway, claiming that a man called Dietrich had been driving but had run off.
The current court case concerns a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren and a black Ferrari Enzo. Eriksson reportedly admitted that he'd stopped making payments on the cars, but said it was because Gizmondo went bust, and not because he intended to steal them.
The LA District Attorney's office confirmed to ABC News that a retrial is set to take place. Eriksson is also facing charges relating to possession of a firearm (a .357 magnum), with jury selection beginning today.
Eriksson's head lawyer, Jim Parkman, said his client was "in very good spirits" about the mistrial result.

Flagship Xbox Live Arcade title Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved is heading to mobile phones, bizarrely courtesy of Sony BMG.
Heading for release this autumn, the mobile version of the ultra-addictive shooter is being developed by Hardcore3D Wireless with help from Bizarre Creations, and has apparently been "faithfully" ported albeit with new game modes.
Numerous "Challenge Modes" are promised for the mobile edition, such as Untouchable, Survivor, and Points Monster where players are tasked with reaching a defined objective.
