Pool for the iPhone is a native Pocket Billiard game to run on Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.
The object of the game is to pocket all colored balls, using as few strokes as possible. The order of pocketing is free. If the cue ball (white) is pocketed, one of the previously pocketed balls is placed back on the table. The number of strokes is shown on the left top corner of the table.
How to make a shot:
First select direction of the shot. Touch the screen and the cue will be directed towards touch position. Then select shot power. Touch on the power selection area (on the right side of the screen) and drag. The number on the top will show the power of the shot (1 to 100). Release your finger from the screen to make a shot. Use Settings page to customize game options.

The trademark application, filed on February 5 and uncovered by Trademork, appears to lend credence to rumors that Apple is going to make a more serious play in the gaming market.
The filed application covers "Toys, games and playthings, namely, hand-held units for playing electronic games; hand-held units for playing video games; stand alone video game machines; electronic games other than those adapted for use with television receivers only; LCD game machines; electronic educational game machines; toys, namely battery-powered computer games."
While the application may be no more than a move by Apple to cover its bases, it can nevertheless be interpreted as a sign that Apple intends to boost its involvement in the gaming space in one form or another, which is hardly a surprise considering the company's success with handheld devices.

Mr. GEOrge HOTz did it again. He just loosed a world of hurt on AT&T with a software unlock for 1.1.3 iPhones. That's right, the software is said to work on any fresh from the Apple store, shrink-wrapped iPhone sporting the latest 1.1.3 firmware and 4.6 bootloader, something the AnySIM unlock can't do. GeoHot's instructions (and dev / elite team smack talk) posted after the break.

1. Download these:
gunlock and the secpack from http://iphonejtag.blogspot.com/ or the blog
the 4.02.13 fls from http://george.zjlotto.com/index.php/baseband/
2. Downgrade your phone to 1.0.2. See all the great tutorials online to do this.
Your baseband won't be downgraded, this is normal.
This will probably work on other versions too, but 1.0.2 doesn't lose wifi on bb access.
3. Kill CommCenter and run "gunlock secpack ICE04.02.13_G.fls"
4. Reload CommCenter. For some reason my phone was in brick mode. Use the elite team bricktool to get out.
5. Enjoy your 1.1.2 OTB unlocked iPhone
Now who'd have thought it'd be this easy
This release is no thanks to elite/dev
I wish they would share like the old days.
I don't believe everyone in the team is like this, but come on guys.

Tetris and Word Series Poker Pro Challenge arrive for the N-Gage, but the contrast in the feel for the demo versions are huge. Ewan hopes Nokia aren't making a mistake with their promotional strategy.
Two more titles from Nokia today in the N-Gage First Access client - which as you'll recall is officially available for N81 users at the moment - both are classic games in their own right, and like good demos they've helped me make my mind up on whether I want to find out any more about the game.
First up though, is how to get the titles (Tetris from EA, and World Series Poker from Glu), and this is actually so painless, and uncomplicated that you might skip over it. Don't. Through the N-Gage First Access client, you head to ‘the showroom' tab on the far right, and you'll see that the two tiles are listed as new additions. Click on them, and you get the option to try for free. They're downloaded over the air, installed on the handset, added to the games menu, and away you go.

IPSMS is a tool for sending SMS via SMS77, SMSBug, Voipbuster (nonoh, sparvoip, voipstunt, webcall Direct, VoipWise, 12voip, dialnow, justvoip etc.) and your cellular network provider.

With just Jiggy and a browser, you'll be able to write an awesome iPhone application in a matter of minutes. JiggyApps run natively on the iPhone, so there is no messing around with HTML and the limitations of Mobile Safari. At the same time, you don't need a compiler or even a Mac, because JiggyApps are written in JavaScript.
