Spoonatron posted this news/release:
I've managed to get this app to compile and run on the Gizmondo successfully, which is a first for me lol. All I''ve done is resized the main window to fit the Giz screen, and also made it save the database file to the Flash Disk.
It's basically a wine database thing which lets you store information on your favourite wines. I know its not terribly exciting but I'm just getting started with C++ so don't expect anything brilliant lol. It's also got some bugs in it which I'll hopefully fix in the future.
You need the Remote Desktop app to be able to type stuff in and to select some buttons. There's a readme file included which has some controls on the Giz.

Dack posted this news/release:
SegaEmulPatcher
Category: Emulators
File Version: 1.0.0.2
File License: General License
Description:
Updated to handle SMD/BIn and directories
Sega Emulator Bodger version 1.0.0.2 by Dack
Whats new:
1. Support for Bin and SMD files
2. Directory option for mass conversion
3. Icon changed on all the created EXEs to show a sonic
4. CLI version included - param1 = input name, param2 = output name
5. UPX packed to make exe smaller on disc
Whats good:
1. Doesn't require anything else to be installed to convert
2. ICON looks pretty
Whats bad:
1. Emulator is still not very good - this seems to be down to not implementing save states (you'll see what I mean if you try converting some of the adventure games e.g. Might and Magic) Region checking does not see to be an issue - as JUE works as well as J
2. You still need to reset to get out - this is down to the emulator code having checks for each key being pressed and only checking the usual 8 (D-Pad and play/ff/rew/stop) - no easy bodge to get an extra keypress check implemented
Instructions:
1. Choose File mode or directory mode (File Mode button)
2. Choose an input file/directory (Input button)
3. Choose an output file/directory (Output button)
4. Press Write button
If you are converting a load of files over in the directory mode and want to cancel then just press the EXIT button

Glu Mobile has announced the signing of a new partnership with Microsoft, to develop and publish a mobile version of Bizarre Creations' acclaimed Xbox and Xbox 360 franchise, Project Gotham Racing.
The first two games in the series appeared on Xbox to widespread critical acclaim and considerable worldwide retail success. The latest game, Project Gotham Racing 3, was a launch title for the Xbox 360, and remains one of the most popular racing games on the next-gen console, with a range of tournaments and online competitions, together with additional downloadable content content including new cars, tracks and features recently announced.
Greg Ballard, Glu Mobile CEO, commented: "The PGR franchise revolutionized the racing genre by rewarding gamers for driving with speed, style and daring. Glu will create the definitive mobile racing experience by delivering this same exciting challenge optimised for the mobile platform."
"The Project Gotham Racing franchise is loved by millions worldwide, and we're excited to partner with Glu Mobile to give gamers a new platform to enjoy it on in the near future," added Edward Ventura, director of franchise development, Microsoft."
The mobile version of the game, which is set to include the instantly recognisable 'Kudos' points system that rewards precision drifting and controlled high-speed manoeuvres, will be available for a wide range of mobile platforms including Microsoft Windows Mobile, early in 2007. No additional information on the gameplay features have been released to date.
Glu Mobile is a leading wireless games and content developer and global publisher with a substantial portfolio of original and branded content from partners including Cartoon Network, Celador International, FOX Sports Interactive, Hasbro, and PopCap Games. The company recently challenged the dominance of newly expanded EA Mobile with an acquisition of its own, securing iFone - the UK's top-performing mobile publisher for the past two years - and subsequently adding a range of additional licenses such as Lemmings, Monopoly and Sonic the Hedgehog to its portfolio.

Apple Computer on Monday revealed it had renewed contracts with the four largest record companies to sell songs through its iTunes digital store at 99 cents each. The agreements came after months of bargaining, and were a defeat for music companies that had been pushing for a variable pricing model.
The music industry's big four - Universal, Warner Music , EMI and Sony BMG – were not immediately available to comment.

The makers of everybody’s favorite iPod-compatable alarm clock, the iHome, has released a new iPod docking station designed to accentuate the flair of your kitchen. The iHome iH36W is your standard alarm clock chock full of alarm clock features, such as FM radio, TV audio and those crazy weather bulletin channels, but with the added bonus of being able to dock onto an iPod.
The difference between the iH36 and its older brethren is that the iH36 is designed to be installed under a cabinet, making it perfect for kitchens and the like. Of course, the iPod charges while it’s plugged in. To top it all off, there’s even a motorized drawer that hides the iPod so as not to ruin the aesthetic of your carefully-designed kitchen. The iHome iH36, which is also compatible with the oft-neglected Shuffle, runs $199.99.

Detective Zack Conner testified that ex-Gizmondo exec Bo Stefan Eriksson was indeed the (intoxicated) driver during the now infamous Ferrari crash this past February in Malibu, ruling out claims that "Dietrich" — Eriksson's imaginary friend — was behind the wheel. In addition to the DUI charge, Eriksson has been pegged with embezzlement, grand theft, and possession of a gun by a felon.
The gaming industry's bad boy is no stranger to the criminal lifestyle. He served 5 & 1/2 years in Swedish prison for assaults, threats, and extortion.

Take the following information with the usual grain of salt; when it comes to speculation about Apple's intentions, nothing is ever certain until the esteemed Mr. Jobs is on stage, product in hand, delivering the pitch. This time around, we have word from AppleInsider that American Technology Research analysts are reporting that their most recent "checks" indicate impending capacity doubling for the iPod nano line-- to 4GB and 8GB -- as well as the addition of "basic video capabilities," in models to be released during the "September quarter." If true, none of these developments would be all that shocking, as the current nanos already have sharp little color screens, and storage boosts are just a natural part of any digital audio player's lifecycle. ATR's Shaw Wu also seemingly contradicted earlier AppleInsider info when he cited an anticipated June/July release window for the as-yet-unannounced 13.3-inch Intel-powered Macbook laptop, which AI had previously suggested would be available sometime before June.

This program will allow you to transfer your songs of your iPod to a PC. iDump does come wrapped in a installer but you can simply drop the .exe in the root directory on your iPod and run it from there. Connect you iPod and run iDump and you'll have access to all your songs, select the songs you want to transfer then pick a destination directory and how you would like your songs to be named. And then sit back and transfer all the selected songs to the PC.
Version 1.1.1 updated the German translation, changed the selection of songs to a single click, selected items are now also shown in bold text, added the songs Bit Rate to the list.
