7digital already support iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Windows, Windows 8 as well as Firefox - and will provide its 25 million strong catalogue of music for download purchasing or locker streaming for Tizen devices including wearable tech.
Ben Drury, CEO of 7digital, said: “We have a history of supporting most mobile operating systems, and we are demonstrating further momentum by introducing an app for Tizen. Wearable technology and music services have an obvious user case, and a 7digital app for Tizen adds to our belief in an open and agnostic approach to music access.”
Users of the app will be able to wirelessly sync their music from the cloud to devices, stream or download and have access to 30 second previews of all songs.
The Tizen app will be available in the second quarter of this year.

Nokia’s best chance to win the UK’s hearts back is to offer full Android devices along with its Windows models, says YouGov.
The research has shown that Nokia has stabilised its position in the UK market in the last year, however its installed base is only at seven per cent of the country’s market.
52 per cent of Windows owners have said that they are loyal to the OS and are not thinking of changing when they next upgrade, although this is significantly lower than 65 per cent of Android owners and 82 per cent of iOS owners.
The main reason for 32 per cent of Windows users for thinking of moving away from the OS is their frustration surround the lack of apps on the devices.
Nokia has recently released its X platform which uses a variant of Android, meaning that it is easier for developers to port their apps onto Nokia - these devices will initially only be available in emerging markets, but Nokia has said it expects the devices to be released in Europe over time.
Nokia could seriously benefit from further embracing Android, as it would open its platform to the biggest device audience, meaning more users would be inclined to upgrade to a Nokia device, or stay loyal to the company.
Russell Feldman, technology and telecoms director at YouGov, said: “In sticking to its “Windows-only” approach, it is catering to a niche whereas offering full Android devices alongside its current models could return it to the mainstream once more. By offering a credible, mid-range, Full Android handset as well as its current Windows devices, Nokia could start to take business away from its competitors.”

Flappy Bird clones reportedly rolled in to the App Store at a rate of 60 games per day over the course of four days, according to numbers crunched by Pocket Gamer. The data comes from an investigation into 300 games that were deemed rip-offs of Dong Nguyen's former tap-to-flap mobile arcade game, averaging out to 2.5 clones arriving on the App Store per hour, or one per 24 minutes.
The data was pulled from games submitted between February 28 and March 3, and due to Apple's staggered release schedule, as many as 14 "Flappy" games arrived in the span of an hour at points. Pocket Gamer defined its use of the term "clone" in this case as "any game in which you guide some character through an obstacle course of pipes (or similar objects) hanging from the ceiling and sticking out of the ground." To be sure, Flappy Bird itself wasn't a particularly novel concept, but the rise in games that mimicked its exact style appeared to be unmistakable to the data gatherers.
Nguyen announced plans to pull Flappy Bird from the Google Play and App Stores on February 8, and later rationalized the decision by deeming it an "addictive product." After Nguyen pulled the game, indie developers participated in a "Flappy Jam" development challenge, which included entries from the likes of Super Hexagon creator Terry Cavanagh as well as punk band Fall Out Boy.

Ouya Everywhere aims to put Ouya games on other company's consoles, and it's kicking off that process this spring on MOJO, the Android microconsole from Mad Catz. MOJO launched in December, and one of its highlights is the eventual ability to stream PC games. Along with the Ouya news, MOJO is getting a price drop, from $250 to $200 in the US.
Ouya currently has 680 games and 33,000 developers on board, and all of that – plus any coming content – will hit MOJO in the spring. Ouya founder Julie Uhrman announced Ouya Everywhere this week, adding that the company is thinking about building a Steam-esque PC application as well.
"Up until now, the game console experience has been locked inside a box," Uhrman says in today's press release. "Together with the hardware veterans at Mad Catz, we end that. Today's announcement signifies the inception of a truly open platform where independent developers can bring their creations to the platforms where gamers actually play: everywhere."
Or, for now: on another Android microconsole.

Don't Starve and Mark of the Ninja developer Klei Entertainment launched its first iOS game this week, Eets Munchies, for $2.99. The puzzler is considered a re-imagining of Klei's previous PC game Eets, and challenges players with guiding a hungry armless rabbit-like creature through levels filled with obstacles, eating cake and sweets along the way. Eets' iOS version was revealed in March 2012.
Eets first launched on PC in March 2006 before arriving on XBLA in the form ofEets: Chowdown in April 2007. Eets Munchies contains five worlds and dozens of preset puzzles, and also includes a built-in level editor, so players can create their own puzzles to share with friends.

If you don't like commitment, a prepaid phone plan can be appealing -- but not if you have to predict your data needs well in advance. Verizon may offer a lot more flexibility with its new Allset plans, though. While there's only one base $45 per month plan for smartphones with unlimited calling, unlimited messages and 500MB of data, customers can tack on "bridge data" that rolls any unused megabytes over to the next month. If you pay $10 for 1GB of data or $20 for 3GB, you can hold on to any leftover capacity for up to 90 days -- a big help if you know you'll need some headroom during that summer vacation. There's a $5 pack if you only need 500MB of data for 30 days, and basic feature phone users can buy the same bridge packs. Basic feature phone owners can also use Allset, although their $35 base rate caps them at 500 minutes of voice. These aren't the cheapest prepaid plans we've seen in the US (see Virgin Mobile for a good example), but they may make sense if your internet usage varies wildly from month to month.

Version 13 of XBMC's media center software, codenamed Gotham, is now ready for your official beta-testing pleasure. The foundation -- which started the project for the Xbox and spawned apps like Plex and platforms like Boxee -- kicked off work on the update nearly a year ago. It said that many of the qualms fromversion 12 (Frodo) users have been addressed. Most notably, it now supports native hardware decoding on Android for x86 and ARM platforms, which should bring smoother playback for formats like Blu-ray. Other improvements include support for more 3D formats (with the notable exception of 3D Blu-ray), better touchscreen support, enhanced UPnP capability, "dramatic" audio engine improvements and easier setup. Though nightly versions have been available for a while, the company provided the usual caveats about beta software and the importance of backing up. If you're unperturbed by that, hit the source.

Windows Phone maker planning a push to make its online gaming service easier to tie into rival platforms' games and apps
[h=3]Microsoft[/h]microsoft.com
Microsoft wants its console gaming service to go mobile. According to a report from The Verge, the Xbox One maker is looking to expand Xbox Live's cross-platform functionality to iOS and Android games and apps.
The report cites "sources familiar with Microsoft's plans," as well as a no-longer-available job posting expressing a desire "to win back game developers."
"We will create a modern framework that is open-source, lightweight, extensible and scalable across various platforms including Windows Store, Windows Phone, iOS, and Android," the posting read.
The company is reportedly planning to produce simple tools to help mobile developers integrate Xbox Live into their titles, regardless of platform. As part of that effort, Microsoft will be relaxing some of the certifications and permissions required by the Xbox Live network.
Microsoft has already taken several steps to bring Xbox Live functionality to mobile, integrating friends lists and achievements into its Wordament game on iOS and Android. Additionally, the company has released an Xbox SmartGlass app that allows users to manage their accounts, check messages, and interact with some games through mobile devices.

Microsoft is reportedly looking to expand cross-platform functionality for its Xbox Live service onto iOS and Android platforms.
The Windows Phone maker is apparently working to ease some of the console service's certifications to potentially open up things up on rival platforms. The Verge cites sources “familiar with Microsoft's plans,” as well as a pulled job listing stating that the move would be in effort "to win back game developers.”
How? By producing easy-to-use tools to help mobile developers integrate Xbox Live functionality into their products – no matter which mobile platform they develop for.
"We will create a modern framework that is open-source, lightweight, extensible and scalable across various platforms including Windows Store, Windows Phone, iOS, and Android," the job post reportedly read.
Microsoft has yet to comment on the report. The firm already offers the Xbox SmartGlass mobile app, and previously packed specific Xbox Live features into the iOS and Android versions of its mobile title Wordament.

There's no point trying to hide on Xbox 360 and iOS, Clem, because A House Divided is also headed their way this week. After originally leaving the platforms in release date limbo, Telltale revealed the second episode of The Walking Dead Season 2 hits Xbox 360 on March 5 - that's tomorrow - and iOS on March 6.
The PC/Mac version is due today, as is the PS3 version in North America - as ever, PSN users in Europe have to wait until tomorrow. Also, Telltale says Season 2 is "tracking" for Vita by the end of this month, and it's set to launch with the first two episodes.

RetroArch Git (2014/02/27) is complied. RetroArch is the reference frontend for the libretro API. Popular examples of implementations for this API includes videogame system emulators and game engines, but also more generalized 3D programs. These programs are instantiated as dynamic libraries. We refer to these as "libretro cores". libretro is an API that exposes generic audio/video/input callbacks. A frontend for libretro (such as RetroArch) handles video output, audio output, input and application lifecycle. A libretro core written in portable C or C++ can run seamlessly on many platforms with very little/no porting effort.
RetroArch Git Changelog:
* Add missing TURBO_ENABLE. Avoid weird +1 offset.
* (RGUI) Make it possible to map all binds from RGUI
* Add HAVE_LAKKA to Makefile - commented out by default
* (GX) Add experimental libsicksaxis support - doesn't work properly
right now so not compiled in
* (Lakka) Change glTexParameterf to glTexParameteri
* (Lakka) Build fixes
* (Lakka) Add unfinished Lakka menu display driver
* Fix GPU screenshots with GL + threaded driver.
* (GX) Add more line-doubled resolutions
* (PSP1) Add __sceGuFinish_GU_DIRECT
* (PSP1) Add WIP psp1_video_inl.h
* (XDK) Simplify DrawVerticeFormats
* (GCMGL) Cleanups #3
* (GCMGL) Cleanups #2
* (GCMGL) Cleanups
* (GCMGL) Make rglGcmSetTransferImage part of rgl-gcm-cmds.h
* (GCMGL) Move more functions over to rgl-gcm-cmds.h
