It's apparently not a done deal just yet, but Bloomberg is reporting that AT&T is currently in negotiations to offer at least one Nokia Windows Phone sometime next year. That word comes straight from the head of AT&T's tablet unit, Glenn Lurie, who reportedly said that AT&T is now working on completing the details of the agreement -- no word on any specific phones, though. In other news, Lurie also said that "you are going to see prices come down" on tablets next year, although in that case he was unsurprisingly only referring to prices on a two-year contract (tablets from Acer and Samsung were specifically mentioned as ones that would be receiving discounts).

You've already had a peek at it in the Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet, but it seems that redesigned user interface is going to be hitting more than just the holiday's most-talked about duo. Netflix has made official a newly redesigned user interface experience for Android tablets -- one that "makes browsing and instantly watching unlimited TV shows and movies streaming from Netflix better than ever." The new look provides multiple rows of titles with larger artwork to scroll through, with Neil Hunt, chief product officer at Netflix, noting that the company has seen a "threefold increase in how long Netflix members are watching on their tablets." As of today, interested consumers can simply update their Netflix app in the Android Market, while iPad users are being asked to wait "a few weeks," after which the new tablet experience will be dubbed Tabster and led on Twitter by a 17-year old methamphetamine addict.

Apple's long promised cloud music service iTunes Match has finally been rolled out in the US, albeit two weeks late.
iTunes Match is a key strand in Apple's cloud strategy, letting music lovers scan their libraries and then replicate them on the cloud.
The idea is that they can all be replaced by better quality ( 256-Kbps AAC DRM-free) versions or re-downloaded when the user has a device stolen or replaced.
It works for iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Apple TV, Mac and PC, and costs $24.99 a year.
The launch heats up a music space that already supports streaming services like Spotify and Wimp, and could have more cloud-based participants from Google and Amazon shortly.
No news on any launches outside the US.

Data protection firm Credant Technologies says that of the 2,200 devices lost in the 15 busiest US shopping malls in 2011, just half were claimed by their owners.
Lost devices weren't just smartphones either as a combination of the mobile phones and tablets accounted for 92 per cent of the missing items, according to the report.
Further results show that 60 per cent of lost devices were found in food courts while 40 per cent were found in toilets, which demonstrates just how reliant consumers have become on their mobiles.
Seán Glynn, marketing VP, Credant Technologies, says: "Unsuspecting smartphone users have become victims of identity theft and fraud crimes perpetrated by criminals and the evidence is that these devices are increasingly a target of choice.
"The vast majority of corporations, and consumers for that matter, are just now realising the inherent dangers that come with having such a plethora of sensitive information stored on these mobile devices."

Market researcher The NPD Group says the percentage of smartphones sold among all handsets in the US has grown from 13 per cent in Q3 2010 up to 59 per cent in this year's third quarter.
Across four quarters running smartphone prices have fallen and the average device for Q3 was priced at $135, according to the report.
The NPD's Smartphone Track service says the price cuts are happening despite consumers that are willing to pay between $200 to $250, which saw 64 per cent end up paying less than $200.
Apple continues domination followed by Android as the top five best-selling Q3 handsets includes:
1. Apple iPhone 4
2. Apple iPhone 3GS
3. HTC EVO 4G
4. Motorola Droid 3
5. Samsung Intensity II

Sweet jumpin' Jehoshaphat, it finally happened -- Google Voice for Android now supports sending text messages to multiple recipients. Being able to have a single, archived repository of texts is great, but it was always somewhat bewildering that while you could send a mass SMS from the website you were stuck sending out individual missives on the app. Today's update, version 0.4.2.38, finally gives Voice the power to spam your contacts -- a pretty basic feature that even the lowliest of feature phones enjoys. So what are you waiting for, head over to the Market to get the update now. How else are you going to let all 300 of your closest acquaintances know the next time you're DJing during happy hour?

This version primarily adds compatibility for the latest Live web interface. It also adds a couple of features, namely Game totals for the Achievement list, and improved image caching (previously, thumbnails would occasionally refuse to load).
PLEASE NOTE that depending on your provider, it may take a while until you can actually download it. Because the Market app occasionally caches old APK’s, make sure that you install the latest version (4.16) – if it happens to install an older version, uninstall, clear your Market cache, then reinstall.
Thanks for your patience.

If you're chomping at the bit waiting to get your hands on a nice cool piece of Android 4.0, your wait may soon be over. Pending a final go-ahead from the Android Open Source Project, you'll be able to sync the now available Ice Cream Sandwich source code. Due to the "large push" (presumably because of all the changes), the roll out is going to take some time to complete -- project members will give the final word when things are good to go. If you try to sync prematurely, be forewarned that you'll get an incomplete copy that will be useless. The available flavor is 4.0.1 which will be the version to ship on theGalaxy Nexus, the first ICS device. This release also includes "the full history of the Android Code," signaling the first time Honeycomb source has seen daylight. Can't wait for a taste? The extremely impatient can hit that coverage link below, but we prefer our frozen treats to be properly chilled before consumption.

Watery grave revelations comes as 86 per cent of Brits don't insure their phones.
Mobile phone comparison site www.GoodMobilePhones.co.uk reports British mobile users enjoy living on the edge as almost nine in ten haven't insured their phone prior to damaging it.
31 per cent of handset damage is liquid-based, and men appear to be the most clumsy users. Of the water damage victims 73 per cent were male while 27 per cent were women, according to the report.
The top five specific results for water damage includes:
* Dropped in toilet bowl — 47 per cent
* Dropped into/spilled drink— 21 per cent
* Dropped in bath/shower — 12 per cent
* Dropped in Washing-up bowl — seven per cent
* Put in washing machine — three per cent
The report says in addition to the 86 per cent that hadn't insured devices, nine per cent were insured against water damage to their handset and the remaining five per cent were in the dark as to whether their phone was covered for water damage.

Yosi Yaguri, creator of Pah!, says the secret is to charge for your game, wait for the first hacks and then drop the price.
Pah! is the cult game for iPhone and Android that uses tone of voice as the controller. It's a sideways scrolling shooter that requires the player to show 'Pah' to fire bullets.
It's become a big word of mouth hit and has generated a huge number of YouTube clips of people playing it – and laughing uncontrollably.
At today's Power Of One developer event in London, Yaguri revealed that piracy has helped to propagate his game. He said: "We always wait for the hackers to hack the game and then drop the price.
"It's why 99 per cent of our pirates are in China and yet China is also the biggest market for us. And It's why I will never release a game free of charge."
