Social games giant Zynga has launched its flagship title, FarmVille, for iPad.
It was already available for iPhone, but that version has been updated to be a Universal app, which runs at a higher resolution on iPad.
"The iPad is a spectacular gaming device, and the new FarmVille app leverages its larger touch screen interface and enhanced graphics," says president of studios Steven Chiang.
Zynga has also dished out some stats on the game's performance so far on the App Store. Although not downloads or monthly active users.
Instead, the company says that people are playing FarmVille for iPhone in 85 different countries, and receive more than 500,000 gifts a day.
