A new iPhone App, titled ZXGamer, emulates the classic geek antique the ZX Spectrum, and comes with three bundled games, allowing owners of Apple's device to experience the rudimentary pleasures of using the once cutting edge computer.
The arrival of ZXGamer will come as a surprise to many in the wake of Manomio's Commodore 64 emulator, named C64, which was removed from the App Store by Apple after just a few days on sale.
As reported by Pocketgamer, ZXGamer is receiving less than favourable reviews from the public using iTunes, but does show that Apple is still prepared to allow emulators to be released for its industry-changing platform.
Imitating the workings of the 48K version of the iconic Clive Sinclair creation, ZXGamer features a limited selection of touch screen buttons for basic controls, and implements some motion sensitive controls. As of today, the App os only available for 3GD iPhones.
