Recent speculation suggested that the second Galaxy Note smartphone would arrive in October – or alternatively August 15th.
Wrong on both counts.
A Samsung spokesperson has officially said: "We plan to unveil the next Galaxy Note at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin on August 29th."
Naturally, no news was shed on the device's specs, but it's thought the 'phablet' will come with a flexible 5.5-inch display.
Interestingly, the date is exactly two weeks before Apple is expected to reveal the iPhone 5, while two Twitter trends suggested the next-gen iOS phone will be priced at $800 just yesterday.
