Samsung is gearing up to launch a flip-style smartphone featuring two 3.7-inch touchscreens. DigiTimes reports that, according to unnamed Taiwan-based supply chain makers, the phone will include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 1.7GHz quad core processor.
The sources claim that the smartphone is aimed at the South Korea and China markets, but what with Samsung’s habit of releasing an incredible amount of smartphone variations, we wouldn’t be surprised if we see the Galaxy Flip sometime soon.
Last month, a concept video from Samsung was leaked showing that the firm is continuing to work towards foldable smartphones.
Maybe a flip-phone with two screens is the first step towards a smartphone that can fold out into a full-sized tablet…
