A number of rumours suggest Samsung has a giant ‘phablet’ in the works that will be even bigger than the Galaxy Note II.
Allegedly called the Galaxy Mega, ET News reports that the handset will sport a huge 6.3-inch screen, come with a dual-core Exynos processor, 8MP rear-facing camera, and a 2MP forward-facing one. SamMobile seems to think the new device will only be 5.8-inches in size, which would still make it bigger than the Galaxy Note II. SamMobile also reports that the Mega will have a 960 x 540 display, 1.4GHz Exynos processor, and 1GB of RAM.
If the rumours are true, Samsung’s next device could contend with the smaller tablets on the market such as the Nexus 7 or even the iPad mini, but obviously with the addition of being able to make phone calls. But who wants to walk about talking on a giant over-sized phone?
