A knock-off version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 has already been listed for sale, just two days after the original smartphone’s announcement. The Goophone S5 features a five-inch, 1920 x 1080 display and runs on a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek processor and 2GB RAM, which the $300 phone’s description says will “bring better operating experience to us”.
Also included is 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and 3G HSPA+ connectivity, dual-SIM support, 32GB of storage capacity alongside 13 and five-megapixel cameras with auto-focus and an LED flash. The phone runs on Android 4.2, and has support for the Google Play store.
“Goophone has always been forward best smartphone,” continues the product description.
“With new design, this new generation Goophone S5 you have never seen it.”
Goophone’s site features a host of other faux phones, tablets and devices – including its own Goophone Smart Watch and Sports Band wearables.
