GungHo’s mammoth mobile hit Puzzle & Dragons has been released on the UK App Store and Google Play.
The title is said to be generating as much as $4.9 million a day, mostly from Japan. As of this week, the title has also reached 20 million users.
Puzzle & Dragons has now made its way to the UK, and is featured on the front page of the App Store under ‘new games this week’. It is currently ranked 95th on the top free apps at the time of writing.
Earlier this week GungHo and parent company Softbank acquired a 51 per cent stake in Clash of Clans and Hay Day developer Supercell for $1.5 billion.
Supercell’s flagship titles were said to be generating $2.4 million a day for the company, success which has seen it valued at $3 billion.
GungHo and Supercell have worked together closely in the past on cross-promotion initiatives, and the two will likely now strengthen that partnership as Puzzle & Dragons makes its move into Europe.
