New details have emerged on developer Cowboy Rodeo's second port of a classic Amiga pinball game to the iPhone.
Having enjoyed success with its version of Pinball Dreams, the studio is now working on Pinball Fantasies, reports touchArcade.
A smattering of information on the game's features, as well as a number of screenshots were made public when a beta tester posted details on the website's forum, and it is expected that the release is due in the next few weeks.
While most of the features will remain the same, the sequel to Pinball Dreams includes four new tables, and the option to have a special area of the screen dedicated to finger presses. The latter is designed to prevent player's fingers from obscuring the details of the included tables.
The original series, initially developed by Digital Illusions, started with Pinball Dreams in 1992, which was followed in the same year by Pinball Fantasies. The series' legacy quickly became diluted, but spins offs such as True Pinball on the first PlayStation were well received many years later.
