US social mobile gaming firm Aurora Feint says its OpenFeint platform is launching in a third wave of Android games this week.
Titles include PikPok's Flick Kick Football, ustwo's Dot 3, Distinctive Developments' Bonecruncher Soccer, and CrowdStar's Happy Island.
Existing developers seem happy with the impact OpenFeint has been having on Android since making the leap from iPhone, too.
Indie developer HyperBees claims that its Speedx 3D game saw a 39% increase in sales after adding OpenFeint.
Aurora Feint is hoping to boost the social effect with an update to its Android platform with Facebook Connect, so users can see what games their friends are playing.
"We’re seeing incredible growth on Android for new games and existing Android games relaunching with OpenFeint," says VP of marketing and developer relations Eros Resmini.
"With Facebook Connect coming soon more and more players will discover the Feint gaming network. Developers clearly love the Feint gaming network - we’re already in 80 games and are adding new games every day."
