Handset maker's flagship device available for £499 SIM-free from later today.
Nokia will begin taking pre-orders for its much-anticipated N97 handset later today at its online store ahead of its June launch.
The device, which features a touchscreen and prominent links into Nokia's forthcoming Ovi Store app channel, will be available for £499 SIM-free.
The N97 will be available in black and white colour variants, with operator availability and exclusive content to be confirmed soon.
Right now only O2 has said it will offer the device, through Carphone Warehouse.
