Low-end 520 and mid-range 720 unveiled in Barcelona.
Nokia has expanded its Lumia smartphone series with another two additions; the Lumia 520 and Lumia 720.
The low to mid-end devices are aimed at offering a more cost-effective option for smartphone consumers.
Available in five colours, the Lumia 720 is expected to hit the market at a price of around €249 at some point this quarter.
Featuring a 4.3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 800x480 pixels and 3G, EDGE/GRPS and Wi-Fi connectivity, the Lumia 720 will also come with 8GB internal storage, NFC technology and a 6.7-megapixel camera with 720p video recording.
Meanwhile, the Lumia 520, which is set to become Nokia’s most affordable Windows Phone 8 smartphone, is also available in five colours. It features a four-inch LCD display with a resolution of 800x480 pixels, 3G, EDGE/GRPS and Wi-Fi connectivity, a five-megapixel camera with 720p video recording and 8GB internal storage.
