MSE group to distribute Wikipad in the UK

MSE Group has been appointed the sole distributor for Wikipad in the UK and Ireland.
“We are delighted to announce that MSE Group is the chosen distribution partner for Wikipad in the UK and Ireland. Wikipad is a fantastic brand to be associated with and I am confident that we are perfectly positioned to bring this new and exciting product to market,” commented MSE Group MD Jim Morgan.
“The Wikipad fits perfectly within our group product offering. It’s a total home entertainment device, offering enhanced gaming, music, film and much more.”
Originally announced at CES in 2010, The Wikipad is designed as a cloud gaming device and is compatible with services such as OnLive, PlayStation Mobile and Google Play.
The device packs a quad-core Tegra 3 processor complete with a 12 core Nvidia GPU, unto 32GB memory and a seven-inch touch screen display.
After a number of initial setbacks, the Wikipad launched in the US on June 11th. The device is expected to be released in the UK in August.
“The initial interest from retail has been incredible and we look forward to Wikipad becoming the leading gaming tablet in the UK,” added Morgan.
