Maxis has announced that the OSX version of SimCity will miss its planned June release date, instead opting to put it out sometime in August.“We have made this tough decision because we do not believe it is ready for primetime yet,” the developer said in a blog post. “We want to ensure the Mac is a great experience for our players and that is why we are taking more time.”The post also detailed the additions coming to the PC version of the game, including improved gifting, fixing a problem where Sims would be stuck in cities they’d traveled to, and a completely redesigned Regional Chat system. Update 5 is expected in “a couple of weeks.”
