Version 3.39 is now out on Market, and should fix the now-infamous “SSL authentication” error.
Thanks to all of you who helped me get this fixed, especially Jonathan Williams and Conor MacLoclen, who ran build after broken build, until the crapshoot finally yielded something useful.
