Local reports suggest an exclusive three-year deal has been agreed.
The Shanghai Securities News (via Reuters) is reporting that Apple and China Unicom have struck a deal for selling the iPhone in the country.
Apparently the deal is unlike those Apple has struck elsewhere in that there is no provision for revenue sharing.
China Unicom is thought to have agreed to purchase iPhones from Apple at $439 per device, and has guaranteed sales of 1-2 million units on revenue of five billion yuan.
