Remember that the iPhone 4G plays games. We're getting further and further away from that fact thanks to good old fashioned controversy. But just remember it.
The latest update in the long running iPhone 4G leak saga sees Gizmodo planning a counter-attack by suing the police after their computer equipment was seized by authorities.
The site's lawyer has told CNET News that the gadget blog could sue the sheriff's office of San Mateo County for raiding the editor's home last Friday.
Thomas R. Burke told CNET that this was an option because "search is not the appropriate method in this situation".
"The district attorney's office is independently looking at this," Burke continued. "We're going to be sending them a detailed letter of what we already told them Saturday and yesterday."
Gizmodo's parent company, Gawker Media, has said that the search warrant is "invalid"
The iPhone 4G was acquired by Gizmodo earlier this month before Apple had chance to announce it officially.
Since then Apple have announced that the new iPhone will be officially revealed on June 7.
It'll play games, you know.
