iPad - the future in headlines

The iPad launched in the UK last week, and just days later Apple was trumpeting 2m devices sold worldwide.
It was a great week for Jobs and the team, but just the beginning of a long and dramatic tale for the revolutionary tablet.
Having tracked iPhone for the last 30 months, we at ME know to expect the unexpected when it comes to Apple.
But having said that, some of the key moments in the iPad story will be utterly predictable.
Here are a few educated guesses of coming events and headlines – in chronological order:

* Britain goes iPad crazy. Fights break out between anxious mums in PC World
* Microsoft says WinPad iPad killer is in development

* iPad 2 launches with camera and improved OS. Product is available across thousands of stores, but web designers with rucksacks still queue for hours outside Apple store.

* Microsoft WinPad still in development
