Portable games provider Cobra Mobile has reduced the price of its quite excellent iPhone shooter iBomber to just 59p (or 99c in the US) – but be quick, as come next week it will revert to £1.79.
Since its arrival six weeks ago the title has remained in the App Store’s Top 20 listings across many of Europe’s key territories. At the time of writing the game is eighth in Apple’s paid-for games listings.
Furthermore, iBomber will shortly be receiving a 3.0 update that will include new missions, extra tilt sensitivity options and some as-of-yet unspecified iPhone 3.0 enhancements.
Big-name price drops to 59p seem very much the rage at the moment, with Chillingo recently following PopCap’s lead in dropping popular puzzle platformer Toki Tori to the super low price point.
If you haven’t tried iBomber, we really must insist that you do – Cobra’s title was recent named CasualGaming.biz Game of the Week.
