Rockstar has released Grand Theft Auto: Vice City 10th Anniversary Edition for select Android devices following a week-long delay. Priced at £3.74, the game features native high-resolution graphics, updated character models and lighting effects, new firing and targeting options, plus a customisable control layout. The title was originally expected to launch last Thursday alongside the iOS version.
"Apologies to all of our Android-using fans for the slight delay," Rockstar said today.
"If you already purchased Vice City 10th Anniversary Edition while it was briefly available on Google Play last week, you won't need to re-purchase it - just download the latest update from Google Play (if your phone is set to automatically download updates then you're already all set to go)."
Rockstar founder Sam Houser said of the game: "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is everything we loved about the 80's packed into a sprawling open world action game. We're thrilled to let mobile and tablet players experience everything Vice City has to offer."
We called the 2002 PS2 version of the game phenomenal in our original Grand Theft Auto Vice City review.
