This time last year, Rockstar Games announced an imminent mobile release of Grand Theft Auto III to mark the gritty mafia-based console game's 10th anniversary.
Now, the games publisher is giving the Scarface-inspired GTA: Vice City a mobile debut to mark the ten year milestone since original release, with a version to hit Android and iOS by the end of the year.
Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games, said: "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City gave players the freedom of a massive open-world in one of the most iconic and vibrant settings ever realised in a game.
"It was a defining moment in the series and we're delighted to be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year with a stunning, updated version for phones and tablets."
The 80s set game is set to bring high-res graphics and a number of enhancements exclusive to mobile.
