The highly regarded Nexus 4 Android smartphone has had its price cut in the UK.
Google has chopped £80 off both the 16GB and 8GB versions of the handset, meaning they can be had for just £199 and £159 respectively.
Unlike many smartphone deals, these prices are for users to buy the phone outright without any strings or contracts. This allows owners to choose their own tariff and take their pick from the large number of cheap SIM-only deals available.
The Nexus 4, which is actually manufactured by LG, launched in November 2012 and is currently the top-tier smartphone in Google’s first party line-up.
It runs the latest version of the Android OS and houses a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. It also offers wireless charging and a 768x1280 320ppi screen.
