Mobile and social game publisher Gameloft has sold over 20 million of its paid-for titles on Apple's App Store since the service began in July 2008.
Of the company's 47 games, 42 of them made it into the top 5 selling list at some point, 25 of them reaching number one.
Big sellers for the publisher have included Let's Golf 1 and 2, Iron Man 2 and N.O.V.A., which launched exclusively for iPhone 4. Gameloft hopes to add another 15 games to its App Store catalogue by the end of the year, including adaptations of NFL, Assassin's Creed and Spider-Man.
"The first half of 2010 marks a new step for us on the App Store," said Gameloft president Michel Guillemot.
"The launch of the iPad and iPhone 4 has opened new horizons for developers and allowed us once again to transform our consumers gaming experience. 20 million paid downloads is proof that our games meet the expectations of our players and we will continue to satisfy them."
Recently, Gameloft announced that increased App Store sales had helped the company to increase its profits by 15 per cent, posting second quarter sales of €33.6 million (£28.5m).
