Gameloft's Star Battalion iPhone game gets spin-off comic app

Mobile games publisher Gameloft has launched its first comic-book app on the App Store, to promote its new game Star Battalion.
Both game and app went live this week. The app introduces people to the people and pilots of the Star Battalion universe.

(A precis: intergalactic fratricidal warfare. Which is always nice.)
The comic-book app is free to download, and has the high production values that have become Gameloft's hallmark on the App Store.
Meanwhile, the Star Battalion game is also notable, as it's the first Gameloft game to tie into Apple's Game Center community.
Gameloft isn't the only iOS firm using comic strips to promote its games. Independent developer Bolt Creative recently launched a comic and comic-app based on its popular Pocket God game.
