Budget-hunting iPhone and iPod Touch owners are in for another treat today with the news that brilliant action puzzle title Eliss has seen its price slashed to 59p for a limited time only.
The game uses iPhone’s multi-touch capabilities and tasks players with combining and separating like-coloured planets and using them to close black holes, or ‘squeezars’ as they are referred to in the game.
It’s all very reminiscent of FORMation’s current iPhone offerings – which if you’re a regular reader of the site you will understand to be no bad thing.
CasualGaming.biz is a massive fan of the really quite unique Eliss, and we feel quite bad that we’ve failed to ever name it our Game of the Week. At 59p you really shouldn’t miss out, but be warned – it’s a tough game, despite a recent patch that reportedly eased the quite harsh difficulty.
Act quick before Eliss returns to its £2.99 original price. We’ll stop writing soon about the new fashion for dropping big-name games to the super-low 59p price point, but until then here are a few that have done the same thing – iBomber, Toki Tori and Peggle.
