Vir2L Studios is set to bring Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey to the N-Gage mobile gaming platform. The Elder Scrolls series was originally created by Bethesda Softwarks and has been a staple of the RPG genre for over ten years. Creators of the Morrowind games are on hand to guide Vir2L Studios in the development of the game.
Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey will be a 3D adventure set in the Elder Scrolls world. The gamer will be able to explore ancient temples, marauders hide-outs and dark caverns while slogging over treacherous terrain. The game will feature over 50 different types of creatures and NPC's to fight during your quest to recover the Shadowkeys. Gamers can chose amongst a wide variety of character classes that include the barbarian, knight, assassin, battlemage, rogue, nightblade, sorcerer, spellsword and thief.
Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey will also feature a robust multiplayer component. Gamers can undertake their quest with up to four friends via Bluetooth wireless technology. Players can also use the online capability of the game to download rankings, content upgrades and interact with communities on N-Gage Arena.
Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey will be available only on the N-Gage platform with an expected ship date in Q4 2004.
