Antenna says the stadiums might be full if LOCOG had a mobile version of tickets.london2012.com.
London 2012 has been a huge success for spectacle and sporting drama. The only downside has been the empty seating – especially given the huge latent desire among Brits to buy tickets.
Last week it emerged that one fifth of accredited seats at the Olympics remained unfilled despite efforts to reclaim them for general sale.
Anger has been directed at organiser LOCOG, which even obstructed a Twitter service that was set up to alert followers to the sites with tickets available.
Now, mobile site optimisation specialist Antenna has waded in to criticise the body for not building a mobile version of its ticketing site.
Although there is a mobile-optimised London2012.com site, no such option exists for tickets.london2012.com.
