SDK embraces Fortumo payment platform for 'easy access' to in app purchasing

A new Corona plug-in offers users of the eponymous SDK access to in-app purchasing in their developments for Android and Nook.
The plug-in for the Corona-SDK comes about as a result of a partnership with Fortumo, which promises to bring easy-to-access IAP support to developers looking to monetize mobile projects. Te plug-in can be implements with just a few lines of code.

“Fortumo is excited to offer additional monetisation solutions to Corona Labs’ thriving community of developers,” said Martin Koppel, COO of Fortumo. “The mobile industry is seeing an explosive growth of in-app transactions and Fortumo allows developers to capitalise on this trend. Developers need to make only one integration to go live with payments in the NOOK Store, Google Play and any third-party app stores.”
“There’s an incredible opportunity for developers to generate revenue with Corona-powered apps and games,” added David Rangel, COO of Corona Labs. “Partnering with Fortumo gives our developers an option that performs extremely well across various markets.
