Cobra Mobile has detailed its launch line-up of iPad games in the same week that the outsized iPhone relative debuted on US retailers' shelves. Two iPhone titles by the developer – Low Grav Racer 2 and Numba – have been specifically remade for the iPad, and are for sale for relatively low prices that contrast the typical $9.99 price tag that many games for the Apple tablet boast.
Additionally, and original iPad game named Pukk has been created.
"Gaming just got better," enthused Cobra's Mark Ettle. "The iPad is the future of gaming, our launch day line up of iPad titles really showcase's what the iPad can do, from console quality racing games, family friendly puzzlers to simple 2-player, play anywhere games. The iPad is a whole new experience in entertainment from books to movies to games, the market just got bigger, better and brighter"
Priced at $4.99 Low Grav Racer 2 HD now features new ships, textures, controls, audio, track layout's, motion blur, real-time reflections and more sophisticated race AI. Meanwhile 99c 'match-three' title Numba HD includes new screen resolution for the iPad, and free Pong homage Pukk is designed to offer early adopters of the tablet an accessible and immediate two-player game.
