Apple has performed well in this year’s annual Superbrands survey, ranking second in the consumer category and gaining top spot for business.
Among the consumer brands, Apple was beaten to pole position by Rolex, however rival brand Microsoft fell down to third place and Google languished in sixth.
In the business category, Apple took top spot while Google came in third. Microsoft stood in eighth place, registering a lower rank than the previous year across both categories. The Superbrands survey is run to identify the UK’s strongest brands and, according to the organisers, is based on the opinions of “marketing experts, business professionals and thousands of British consumers”.
