Apple has confirmed the keynote and talk schedule for this year’s WWDC, taking place in San Francisco between june 11th and 15th.
The keynote will take place on June 11th at 10am Pacific Time, and although Apple have not yet confirmed who will be speaking, it seems a safe bet to assume that it will be Apple CEO Tim Cook.
Apple are keeping tight-lipped about any new product launches obviously, but what we do know is that there will be six technical tracks and more than 100 sessions and labs, all exploring the latest technologies in iOS and OS X.
The conference tracks are as follows:
- Essentials
- App Services
- Developer Tools
- Graphics, Media and Games
- Safari and Web
- Core OS
Open hour labs will be available all day, every day for general questions, and will provide a chance to work one-to-one with Apple experts to get advice on everything from development to distribution.
This year’s event will also feature The Apple Design Awards, Lunchtime Speakers and the WWDC Bash, which will provide a chance to relax, eat food and ‘rock the night away’.
Apple are still taking submissions for the Apple Design Awards, you can submit your nomination here.
PCR will be reporting on the details of the WWDC event in June.
