Our friends in the USA can now get their hands on the newly released Kindle Fire HDX Android Tablet, the new Kindle Fire HDX is aimed more at the premium end of the market with higher specs and better display that will put it in the iPad range, it has a powerful 2.2GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM, the display has a resolution of 1920x1200, high pixel density (323 PPI), and perfect color accuracy (100% sRGB).

A curious addition to the Kindle Fire HDX is the Mayday button which is an on-device tech support, exclusive to Kindle Fire HDX tablets. Connect for free to an Amazon expert 24x7, 365 days a year, personally i can see it getting abused or if touched at the wrong time could be a little embarassing especially if watching the wrong type of movie :P

The Cheapest option of the 7 Inch range weighs in at $229 with 16GB Storage, special offers and Wifi only, battery life goes from 12 hours for everyday usage to 18 hours if just reading with a front facing HD camera.
