Vietnamese scammers rip off One and One Story and sell it on the Apple App Store.
Mattia Traverso developed the puzzler as a Flash game, and scored a big hit with fans of browser based fun.
But as he prepared to launch the game on iOS he was shocked to discover it was already on the Apple App Store courtesy of what he thinks it a Vietnamese developer
He told Kotaku.com: "The original version was made in Flash, which is fairly easy to decompile. They just took the old .swf, took the graphics and probably rewrote the code."
It's not the first example of this kind of thing. Kotaku cites recent examples such as Pokemon Yellow app and the row between Zynga and NimbleBit over Ridiculous Fishing and its clone Ninja Fishing.
Unfortunately indy developers with a relative lack of funds and commercial nous are particularly susceptible to this worrying trend. Apple is reportedly looking into the matter.
